In the summer of 2018, Scott took the biggest risk of his life: quit his good-paying job as a plastics engineer and start off into the unknown. He founded Cammeck Equipment in Redmond, Washington with his hard-earned savings. He found a small, well placed shop and began filling it with tools, materials, and dreams. He bought his first welder and other tools used to keep costs down. He offered many services to the community, and prototyped over 50 products! Nearly all of them failed, but that was good learning.
Today the shop is crammed full of raw materials, tools, projects-in-progress, and sometimes even his kids. We have several super-amazing welders, saws, a mill, a lathe, benders, and dozens of other capable and custom-made machines. Scott is now a certified welder for welding steel of infinite thickness (that’s what the paper said 🙂 and we have partnerships with a multitude of industries.
